\"buzzy\" dash

Postby spitty » Tue Aug 01, 2006 9:10 pm

Help please ... My NA has anoise inthe dash somewhere
Its just a \"buzz\" but its there most of the time unless the road is exceptionally smooth{ not in SA} How do i pull the dash / column apart for a look??? This is really noticible from start up and is obviously a plastic trim issue. Cheers John :? :?

The glove box is held in by two screws below it. The centre dash panel is also held in by 4(?) screws but you have to take out the centre eyeball vents and the centre console first to get at them. There is also a panel under the steering column held in by two screws at the lowest part.

Happy hunting. Oh, BTW, I went hunting for a buzz/rattle in there last year and it turned out to be the end of the zipper for the rear plastic window  - sounds travel.
