I'm pretty sure you were first. I only PMed him like a couple hours ago :P

Let us know how it looks, preferable with pictures (assuming you get it :P ). Once he replies to me, I'll ask him where he got it from, and I can consider having a look myself.

Sorry marcusus... the last fancy part I tried to score on here I missed out on, as the seller lost it in his garage! So good things come to those that wait - or however it goes
:? :)
If I see anything of fancy on my travels I'll be sure to point it out to you.

Cheers
Amanda

Yeah, no problems. I'm fairly patient, and I've been living with the standard black for a bit anyway, so no big deal.

Besides, I had a carbon fibre style trim in my first NB, so I've already experienced it (well, having a trim different than boring black). Nothing I can't live without... for the moment :P

Vinyl dye might also be an option to consider... perhaps?

Here's an example of a silver dyed keyboard: http://forums.gideontech.com/vps/showph ... puser/1755

Might give this a go if i can find the right stuff anywhere

Yeah, I'm considering trying out my can of spray paint that I used on my wheel caps to turn them back silver on the trim bits. Might work, but I don't think I'll be willing to try til I've exhausted all other options :P
