Friday night spent in the garage, surrounded by electrical tape, spade connectors, and the socket set, and continually interrupted by the dogs who needed to know what WE were doing next.

End result: Looks fantastic, in my humble, yet biased, opinion. LED boot brake light looks wonderful and is incredibly bright, and the clear reflectors, indicator and tail lights really freshen up the appearance.

Removed and replaced the old plastic handbrake gaiter with a leather one, so now all I have to do is replace the handbrake grip with a carbon fibre one, get the interior carbon fibre trim, get the Mazdaspeed rearview mirror cover and I should be finished with the interior.... for a while. (Sparco or Bride seats ARE on the agenda)

I can not take photos as my wife is overseas for the next 2 weeks and conveniently took the camera to take photos of the Swiss, French and English countryside. And my mobile phone came from the "before colour screen" ages and thus doesn't have a camera built in. Will post pics as soon as possible.

Jeez, I'm quite keen to get mine now also. I was contemplating the red ones for a while but seeing as you can't get red side indicators, I gave the idea a way in favour of a set of clears.

It's very easy to fill your cart up at that mx5parts site. Very dangerous :)

New brake light and reflectors fitted today. Man they look so much better. Im in two minds about changing the tail lights. I want to, because chrome on white works better than red on white, but im just not too sure....

Having a bit of a think about the red/clear Vs red/red body/reflector combo myself. From what I found on the Net I'm thinking the red reflectors are fitted standard on rears of some other country 5's. Are the front and rear reflectors interchangable or do some come with reds on the front standard?

a few washers will space out rear reflectors to fit.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
