Gday,
Hume Smash Repairs have a good reputation on repairing MX5's. Send a PM to Boyracer. His last race car was sponsored by them so he can give you their details and a contact name. :)

Mick is the guy you are after. I haven't had any personal experience with them but I've heard good things about their work.

 Way too much time at work has our Bevan!

The only trimmer I know of with direct MX5 connections is Blackmans (in Caringbah i think) They were the company that did most of the leather seats for Mazda Dealers in Aus, mine included, so they are probably worth a call. That said, most established trimmers can fix seats without much fuss, so you could also try someone local.

Don't go to Platnum (I'm talking of the one in Rydalmere - that does interior work and sound)...they are the biggest rip-off ever.
Got a 1200 Datsun ute quoted for a new interior and sound...driving away with a $5100 quote and scratching our heads as to how they could charge that much! I personally would never use them as I believe that their service would be rubbish (after talking to the guys and seeing the workshop and workers) and seeing the ridiculous prices they give.

I'll try dig up an old number of a bloke that did my old mans Type R...doors, front and back seats and gearshift boot in red leather for $1200. Quality job and very very very well priced...he works for Audi trimming, but runs his own small trimming business in his shed (lives at Dural). *Goes and looks for the number*
