Number Plate Frames/Covers

Does anybody know where to get some good quality frames from? I bought some from supercheap but they don't look all that good. I've seen some really good ones on some Porches and Mercedes that have a slightly curved cover without any exposed edges.

Go into a dealer and ask for some. I'm sure they wont mind the free advertising of their dealership. Then scrape their name off the cover?(If you dont want it on there). Worth a try if you really like them?

Went to autobarn today and found some there exactly the type I was after.

I got some from Allied Plastics(0397751931).

He makes all sizes (you can mix and match,eg Ihave one slimline,one standard)and they come with spacers to lift the plate away from the body.

When fitted you cannot see any attachment points etc.

Excellent quality and only $35 posted, with prompt service.

They are the same plate covers I got by the look of them.

How much did you pay?

The manufacturer advertises in Classic Cars.

$20.99 for the large one and $19.99 for the slimline one. All the others that they had were a couple of $ either side of this as well.
