I wanted to do the same when I had a pastic rear window. I asked a professional tinter, and he said that the plastic window could not be done.

Now that I have a glass rear window I'm thinking of getting the rear and side glass tinted.

Why tint the windows when the top and windows are down when it is not raining?

& when the sun is smouldering out of the west on a hot day, spin the windows up & be protected from UV & glare while still enjoying the wind in what's left of your hair! 8)

Sunblock stops sunburn, and I have a cloth car cover that I put over the car when it is parked in the sun.

39 today here in Adelaide, and we have just come back from a picnic in the Botanical Gardens, and it was only warm when we were stopped at the traffic lights 8)

Oh, I don't have A/C, either, so maybe the heat has affected me over the last 5 years of driving my toy :D

The one drawback after 265+km is that the seat belts have now faded so I don't how effective they will be, so will buy DUJ's ones.

so the glass rear windowed tops can be tinted? just wondering if it'd be better for the tinters to do mine before it's installed or not?
