Hello
Supercheap have 35% off Penrite oils this weekend so I'm going to stock up.
One question, The Penrite website recommends HPR 30 or what I want to get is the racing version Racing 20.
Now my 1.6 Turbo'ed MX-5 only sees use on the track. what is the best Racing version to use 10, 15 or 20 as recommended by the website?
Thanks.
Oil.

Re: Oil.
I run hpr10 in mine which is a 10w-50 or so but it doesn't see the track yet
I've seen people run 15w-50 racing variant for track work or the Castrol edge 10w-60
And if it's 35% off I'm going to stock up too

You will notice on the Penrite Oil Selector, that the recommended oil has a thicker viscosity as the vehicle model gets older.
As it's a turbo 1.6 NA for track use, I'd stick with the recommended Racing 20 (20W-60).

Re: Oil.
Deckspeed put Total QUARTZ RACING SN 10W-60 in my engine so I will continue to use that.
