Dorian Mounting

Hi folks,

Looking for ideas on mounting my Dorian.

I have seen some cool options, including David Stone's nice and tidy passenger side in-floor mounting.

What is everyone else doing? Now I have my own Dorian, I would like something more permanent than my dodgy cable ties through the rear tow hook solution.

Will a Dorian transmit through plywood or plastic? That might allow me to mount it over my undertray or something.

Anyways, would like to hear some ideas :). I do have a couple of those cradles so all I really need is a suitable surface.

It goes through plastic and wood, I have just mounted mine on the inside of the front under tray after it got ripped off when it was mounted under the car, lucky I got it back.

I attached the cradle to the circled ridged. Works pretty well, I can easily take it on and off.

Mine is on the drivers side with the stock plastic bracket. Very easy to access.

Pics would be brilliant please!?

Have had a bracket here for ages but haven't mounted it. It would be nice to get it under the car, in a place that is easy to access, but can't be knocked off on a curb or similar...

Nothing really beats the passenger floor cut-out if racecar. The ones I've seen just have a plastic box suspended through the floor and riveted and silicon sealed from the road - sorry, no pics.

^^^ That is also the CAMS mandated spot for racing as well if running in a CAMS category and want to play the eligibility game.

Which way is the cradle orientated?

Need pics of mounts with the cradle in position that don't involve cutting the floor please.
