Bargain SNELL helmet + HANS, $899

I've just a couple of days ago taken delivery of a new helmet and HANS device. The brand of the helmet is Velo, pretty much unknown for helmets, their seats and harnesses are where their name is. At the moment on their website they have got HANS + Helmet packages at pretty low prices considering how much they cost individually. I bought this: http://www.velo.com.au/itemdetailspage/44485 which includes a full face Snell 2010 rated helmet with a clear visor, a pair of HANS posts you can fit yourself, and a Stand 21-manufactured Club HANS device. The individual prices for these would be $399 for the helmet down from $499, a pair of posts around $80, and the HANS device at $600-700. So you've got a comfortable $1200+ worth of gear for $900, and they seem to have extended their 'no freight charges for July' to include August at least, I didn't pay any.
Not having been on track with them yet I can't say a whole lot about the helmet other than that it feels a lot nicer and fits a lot better than my cheap ebay RXT Aero helmet, and the visor isn't distorted like the RXT either. Until my roll bar goes in and my harness arrives, I won't be able to use the HANS device, but the package price is a real bargain. Anyone who wants to get their hands on a HANS and a helmet to suit should consider these packages, they also do full face open visor helmets, carbon full face, and forced air variants.
