Bridgestone tyre pressures
Does anyone have experience running Bridgestone Adrenelin RE 02s on 15" rims? Since fitting to 15x7 wheels on my NB8A earlier this year I have improved my times at Wakefield Park but am not convinced I am optimising the pressures. Have used between 36 and 38 psi (cold) with good results but need advice as I'm fairly new to this game. The car has a Bilstein PSS9 suspension. This is set at 2 front and 6 back for Wakefield which gives neutral handling.

Re: Bridgestone tyre pressures
Sorry no experience with the bridgestones but most normal road tyres start loosing grip at about 40 - 41 psi HOT.
If you're starting at 38 psi cold your well past the 41 hot pressure.
Check your pressure as soon as you come in and drop them to 39 psi as you will have already lost some pressure due to cool down.

I always aimed for 40 hot on my RE001's.

Re: Bridgestone tyre pressures
At wakefield, I ran 36 cold, and throughout the day when I could feel the tyres starting to lose grip, I lowered the pressure to 36-38 PSI hot. This was on bald Bridgestone RE11's. None the less, they carried so much grip through corners.

Re: Bridgestone tyre pressures
Ran mine about 34 cold but our autokhanas are the same as one hot lap.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
