Brett,
Yes both Neils car and Michaels car have been sold to local guys here in QLD.
As far as I know Neil is due to debut the 2B car in October and run in at PI in November.
Paul.

Good stuff.
Well done on the sale Neil. Can't wait to see the new car.
My car may be going to England. I would prefer it to go up to QLD where it can run in a good series but if someone from England wants it they can have it.
Cheers

A guy named Darren Berry. He's also contemplating building a 2F Lotus and/or NC.

Yeah, from what I've gathered so far he's not short of a buck.
He's also competing in the mini challenge this year ($20,000 per round )
He leased one of Tony's cars for the V8 round and that's when I told him he could run an MX5 for a whole year on less than $20,000

Wouldn't it be nice to have 20 grand to use per race meeting.
That's serious money.
He will do a whole year in an MX5 for that. Probably heaps better racing to.
That 20 grand wouldn't cover damage either. Imagine what one of those Mini's would cost to fix. That's a crap class anyway. They only get about 12 cars and half of them have professional drivers in them to try and make the class look good. I am sure they are fun to drive but i could think of much better racing to do for the money you have to outlay. Top level Australian motorsport is a joke now. You have to be super rich to get anywhere. Hence all these you kids driving in all the National series. Only reason they are there is because Daddy has a super fat wallet. Half of them have zero talent and are making fools of themselves. just there to fill the grids. So many good young kids driving at club level that will unfortunatly never get a chance.
Cheers

Hi Brett
Yes I did sell the car however I think it could end up on the market again as he has just purchased an NC.
The new car should be out at Morgan Park at the end of Sep if I can ever work out why the fuel pump won't go
I will try to put new photos up on the web this weekend as it looks hot with the 17 inch wheels and being just black and white.

Couldn't agree more.
Obviously after a stint in the MX5 at QR, Darren has also seen the light and won't be competing in the Mini Challenge after his commitment ceases at the end of the year.

Nothing stopping you coming over and giving a hand as I'm sure I have some help credit with TCR Racing
I have struggled with this fuel pump issue for a couple of weeks now and even got somebody out on Wednseday to look at it to no avail. If its not fixed this weekend its off to Chris and he can sort it out.
