Racing numbers - Where to buy?

Postby cshaks » Fri May 23, 2008 11:18 am

Hi Folks.
Can anyone tell me whereabouts (besides Revolution Racegear in Ringwood) I can buy racing numbers and triangles etc?
I live on the Western side of Melbourne and its nearly a 2 hour trip there and back!
I know that you can usually buy them on the morning of the race, but I do like to sort the car out the day before if I can.
Thanks
Chris

Yeah, I just used some blue fabric (120mm equilateral IIRC) under contact and for the numbers I just print out some numbers in 800 pt. bold Arial in word, then cut them out and contact over. Does the job fine unless you want your car to look nice and pretty for the cameras.

Is Oakleigh any better? Still east, I know http://www.gmpracingproducts.com.au/home/

The club has some numbers over from Nat meet if that helps. I'll go out and have a look what I have.

I think I can probably stil supply the blue triangles

Ok. If anybody wants these, they're $3per number as the club bought them for Natmeet and would probably like to redeem some of the costs.
I have in black
1's = 5
2's = 1
3's = 4
4's = 0
5's = 5
8's = 2
and in white
1's = 2
2's = 2
4's = 1
5's = 2
0's = 1
I also have some pretty fancy tow symbols which I think are $5 each. I also have 3 triangle left.

I'll have them on Sunday if this helps anybody.

Thanks everyone for the ideas.
Sam, I will stick my hand up for a couple of 18's in black and a blue triangle for Sunday thanks.
And d.ethakada thanks for the link, I didn't know about that shop, but its very close to my wife's place of work. So I can just place an order and get her to pick them up when she gets a chance.
I tried a couple of vinyl cutters and they were looking at anything from 15 - 30 dollars to get a couple of stickers done.
