Apart from the build up of the new green racer this thing has been keeping me busy for about the last 5 months...

Very nice BR. 8) I dont know how you fit in your proper job with all the race cars you build.

I cant believe Renault built it into a road car. It looks like a concept car from a motorshow.

Garry...dunno how I do it some times...gets very busy, try not to spend too much time doing my real job.

They actually made a road version that ran with no windscreen as well, the normal road version has gullwing doors and a windscreen...the diffuser thing works very well with wind but you do cop a few bugs and rocks in the face.

The wheels are actually all 16s...the fronts are 16 x 7 with about +40 offset but the rears are 16 x 9 with about a 0 offset...that why they look different....front tyres are 205/50 and rears are 225/45....unfortunately these are the only sizes we could get from Dunlop...they normally run a 245 on the rear.

Cal...I have no idea how much the Vodafone sponsorship is worth...I just prepare the car....have to say this is a very costly project.

Bix...this is actually a different car...Adam who owns this car also owns the other one which we ran in targa last year.

Thanks for the great shot Kitkat...

So we made it throught the week...car was really good...if a little hard to drive, was really not made to do this sort of thing.

Only had a few minor problems...

Ended up winning Targa Plate...and also Class and category...everyone is really happy with the results an the car got a great reaction from everyone there...I reckon it was more peopular than the Zonda and the R35.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
