Hi guys,

Just contemplating costs of building a 2F car. Can someone give me a rough idea what it would cost to take a 1.8 import motor and make it fairly competitive in 2F?

Cheers, Paul.

It all comes down to how much you want to spend...with good pistons and rods and some haed work you can easily spend $8-10K.

If you have the abilty to build it yourself, about $3500. Depending on spec, a built one should be under $6K.

I saw you at QR yesterday, but wasn't there long so didn't get a chance to say g'day. Was a wicked battle behind you in the last JDM race between 4 of the MX5's.
