Ok kiddies, the first Club Track 1/2 Day has been set for Thursday 10 August.

It will be an afternoon session 1-5pm but people will be asked to arrive at 11.30-12.00 to fill out paperwork etc so we can get on the track when it opens at 1pm.

Cost will be $75 per car and we need a minimum of 20 cars to get it off the ground.

We want to try and keep it to MX-5's only but final numbers may change that.

So if you are interested in attending either let me know here or e-mail me at peter.steinback@gmail.com . We will be looking for some marshalls as well for the day so if you're not interested in going on the track but want to come out and help, let me know.

Thanks

Peter

Peter, I'm planning to have OMX-596 there. I have also asked the father in-law to take OMX-593 for a spin out as well.

Cheers,
Danny

It's on, we have booked it so we are committed to it now.

I will be sending out shortly the details for payment. Unless you have a really good reason there will be a no refund policy for people who don't show up on the day. The Club has to pay even if no one shows but it will mean I get a lot of track time

Currently preference will be given to Club members then if we still need numbers, it will then be open to other MX-5 owners, then other Mazda's then just others then VW/Audi drivers!

We have 15 people so far so numbers hopefully won't be an issue.

Let me sort out banking details and I will let you all know.

OK, for those doing the track day here are the payment details.

I will have to see how we go for numbers before I open it up to non-club members and others, I will let you know when it gets closer to the cut off date.

Payment is required by Wednesday 26th July to confirm your spot on the day.

Payments can be made directly into the club bank account, if you don't have the details let me know and I will PM them to you (they are on your membership renewal form).

When you have deposited your money, could you please send me an e-mail, peter.steinback@gmail.com with your details of payment, Namely:

Name
Club membership no.
Rego number
Date paid
Amount (entry fee/licence)
Reference
Car year
Group you would like to be in (Beginner, Intermediate, Experienced)
Which licence you require (1 day or 12 months)

Some banks don't give you much space for a reference when transferring money and I would like to be able to confirm your payment.

Your spot isn't confirmed until payment has been received.

As the club has to pay the full amount for the track even if we don't get enough people on the day, we won't refund entry fees if you don't show on the day. Another club member is able to fill your spot if you can organise someone else.

We will be looking for some marshalls as well for the day so if you're not interested in going on the track but
want to come out and help, let me know.

If you have any questions, just ask.

Peter
