Some serious machinery is taking part including Barry Faux's Bullet - see and hear it here:

Good luck to Barry and Martin. They should really give the 4wd turbos a run for their money this year. Also, good luck to Verne (Forced Fives) and his co-driver Paul who are also running.

Had a chat to Barry today at Dutton (EC), and he gave us a peruse of his bullet. Fabulous car. I also have some video of it on the motorkhana stage and the figure eight.
Also some footage of Paul Brell, i believe(?) in the BD4's MX5. A perennial favourite of mine!

Good Pictures Thunderbird. Do you have anymore? The Dutton was a great weekend.
Unfortunately that is probably my last outing in the white car as it makes way for our first child. It is up for sale if anyone is interested. It was only my second time at the EC and the first in the White MX5 and I had a ball. I would love to get it out there again with some better tyres to see what it is really capable of.

Love this one Kelvin (one of my highlights of the day this car, if only because the CSL sounds fantastic, and it's driver/owner? drove like he was fleeing a bank robbery:

CSL sounds horny as, funny when the E46 m3 did the figure 8 straight after the CSL..... looks so plain, almost boring

Yeah, his approach may not have been the quickest, but it was hugely entertaining.
Funny really, those who know me will know how much i loathe the apparent change in direction and philosophy that has been happening at BMW, yet two of my fave cars of the day wore the famous propellor. This other one was certainly the real deal. One of the spectator cars, and for sale also! I have such a hankering for the E30 M3, particularly given the fact that it represents one of the things BMW used to be all about!

One of my all time favourite cars. Only BMW never made them in RHD. See, the production M3 exaust wouldn't fit with a RHD steering rack. This might be a RHD conversion (with different exhaust) or a mock-up.
