Almost Lou, fitted extra bonnet pins today, spanner checked the rear end, removed the pass seat and checked under the dash. Car came back from the dyno today and gets aligned on monday, ready to go. Hopefully my tyres will arrive up there before me! Tomorrow gets oil change, more spanner checks, lockwiring and completion of my camera mount so there's plenty of footage of the MX5s taking the mountain. All going well, sunday will be free to spend watching racing. 8)

We were about to do a wheel alighnment on mine last night as the final job, when the engine started making a dire noise. We pulled the tappet cover off to find a cam wheel broken at every spoke. Luckily Tony bought 2 sets recently and we fitted the spares. Will have do alighnment tonight as they go on the truck in the morning.

Good luck boys & girls. I'm terribly envious of everyone.
Let’s hope the track stays dry and the cars straight.
Bring back some good stories. 8)

What he said - very envious that I can not go and help. Have a great time, be safe, and make sure you and your cars are around to fight another day.
