FOSC are CAMS affiliated.

But if your car is still a road car then I doubt you've done anything that wouldn't comply.

Don't worry about the trailer and tow car thing. Real sports cars are dríven to and from the track. :mrgreen:

Do you drive your car to and from race meetings ?

What's it like on the road ?

Do the police pull you over ?

I've dríven mine to and from the track as it's still registered.

It's not too bad on the road considering the spring rates and alignment settings but my engine is also stock. Pretty heavy in the steering department without power steering but on the highway it's alright.

I've never been pulled over by the police in my two registered track cars but I'm pretty careful about my speeds because I know I'd be targeted pretty quickly If I was to do anything stupid :)

What spring rates did you go for with your Tein Flex. I use Tein Flex and went with the 9kg/6Kg. Works well. I am going to try 10kg on the front for the FoSC meeting and see what that is like.

I'm running 9/6 as well. I've only had one run in it since they were installed and I suffered a little understeer from apex to corner exit on longer corners. I have since changed the front sway bar from middle to soft and I'm getting the alignment tweaked today for Oran Park.

However, I was talking to another competitor yesterday who flat out told me that the car is way oversprung and that I should be running 7kg front and 4kg rears?

I'm counting the days :)

I had the same problem. Alignment pretty well fixed it. I run a whiteline adjustable on the front and a standard bar on the back. Did have a adjustable whiteline on the rear to start with but went back to the standard bar.

I'm running the same, Whiteline 24mm adj front bar and standard rear bar.

Are you running the front sway bar on soft?

I was running it on soft until i got a different wheel alignment setting. Then i moved it up to the middle setting. It was amazing how much difference the new wheel alignment settings made.
I run about 3.5 neg in the front and +5 of castor. And abot 3.25 neg in the back. I tried all types of toe settings and found that pretty well 0 toe all round works for me with the settings i have. You could run a little toe out on the front and a little toe in on the rear if you want. Every body is different but these seem to be the settings that work for me. Do have to check them quite often as the bushes do tend to move a bit.

I drive it to QR and Lakeside. Morgan Park is 2hrs away, so I hire a trailer and borrow dad's Subaru to tow it there. When we go down south, they go on a truck. Other than that, it gets dríven from my place to the workshop and home again. That's all the road kms it does.

It's surprisingly good. Obviously it's no Merc and I'd be in no real hurry to drive it to work in peak hour (although I have to go to the workshop after work)

I've never been pulled over. I have the seat, harness and cage blue plated, so if it happens I'll hope for the best.
