I saw the time (1 sec better than mine) and was wondering if it was raining. I was expecting around the 1:45's from the big guns. It's raining today, but i will go down and give them a hurry up. Phillip island does take a while to learn. Or is it just my lack of driving experience??

There's been an issue with the timing gear and no one knows who's finished where. They may post results at some stage but I think there will still be speculation as to their accuracy 8)

Remember it is your local track. It was raining most of the time and we'd never dríven a turbo there before. I'd personally like to do about another 100 laps there. Then you might see mid 40's. She's pretty stock.

Those 949's look good on it. Did you managed to fit a BBK under there or are those still standard SE calipers and rotors?

It just runs stock brakes. There isn't much fancy about the whole car. It has a healthy motor though.

Well done mate, good result.

Andrew and Tony did a good job too, looks like they were the highest placed 2F car?

I'd say they are great results for the whole MX5 contingent. It's always good to see them beating cars 10 times their price. 8) 8)

Congrats to all of you.

Thanks. Had we not stuffed up the safety car we would have finished a lot higher. Perhaps in a bit of a battle with CT. Neil's 1st stint in the car was very strong indeed. I had passed that Lotus in front at about the 50 minute mark only to have clutch issues a lap or two later. I couldn't get any gears from the exit of Siberia to Lukey Heights one lap. Finally got 3rd, but the Lotus, an RX7 and Fish and gone past. The others were a lap down though. Regardless, an awesome weekend. A big thanks to Tony Bonanno from Valley Car Clinic for the use of his car for the series. I think we have ended up 3rd in 2B behind 2 Lotus HPE's.

The 15x8 will clear an 11" (280mm) rotor and 4 pot Wilwood Dynalites. We're now running 11.75" (300mm)rotors with Wilwood 6 pot Dynapro calipers in our 15x9.
