I would jack up the car, look for a spot, and then drill from the inside, can't remember how it was done for mine but here is a pic.
You will need a backing plate

you should find a factory ready seat bolt hole already in the tunnel if you lift up the carpet in the NA's not sure on the NB's

Would be the two bolts on the floor for the crotch strap on a 6 point harness.

Yea, not on NB's which meant more holes :(
the other one is for the lower 2 points, watch out when drilling these as you don't want to hit the fuel lines

Dragging up an old thread from using a search function.
Looking to buy my first racing harness.
My question is..... Can a 6 point harness be used as a 4 point.
My current race seat only allows for a 4 point.
Looking at possibly upgrading my race seat to accommodate a 6 point in the future.
Advice please..... And cheers in advance.

I have a 3" 6 point Willans harness and it will buckle up without the 5th and 6th belts.

As for drilling for them, I would recommend doing a pilot hole from underneath the car first as the brake lines run around that area. You would be pretty pissed off to find you had drilled through one from inside the cabin!!

Cheers

Is it a Sparco Sprint (non-V) by any chance? I am using one of these fine with a 6 point harness and I didn't even have to cut through the foam. All that was required was some unpicking between the two sections:

See my build thread for further info.
