I thought a 2F car had to run on pump fuel.
Cheers

Not sure, I haven't looked it up. they might argue it was "pumped" from the Elf Racing tin.

I had a look, the 2F regs just state it has to adhere to schedule G of the CAMS manual. That just defines the category of fuel...looks like you could run what you wanted....

can you build you motor to anything you want and have whatever ecu you want? if so then you could quite easily have 300 plus hp if you had the money. there is a guy in greece that has a 420 hp cosworth 205 motor that runs 120ron race fuel and lord knows what compression.

In 2F, you can't change the stroke, and the inlet manifold/throttle body have to be retained (no, you can't enlarge the throttle body) amongst other things but I think those are the major power limiting factors. The power we're getting out of them now means they are already plenty of fun without spending really stupid amounts on the engine. If you just want to win the races (in Qld we run with2F, 2B and 2A in the same races) just build a 2A car like one team has, bit boring from my perspective though....always playing with yourself....

That's about to change next year. 2A & 2B will run with Sports Cars and 2F is going to be it's own class. Dictated by QR.

I gather Mr 2A isn't the most popular bloke around.
I sort of gathered that when i was up for the V8's.
That is awsome you will have all 2F races.
I need to move to QLD.
Cheers
