No reason, just interested for when I'm alllowed to blow all my money on a pointless pursuit which requires I spend all of my weekends with my head in an engine bay rather than with my family and friends.

Mate that is the most ridiculous response i have seen on this forum.
I am one of those people that spend money and time on my racecar. Why. Because i really enjoy my motorsport.
As for not spending time with family and friends because of it. I have a wife and 2 kids that come before anything fullstop, and spend plenty of time with them. And i also spend plenty of time with my mates.
If you ever get out to a motorsport event maybe you will realise that a lot of people there make a family do out of it.
If you and Neil are mates and just stirring each other then i am sorry but it didn't sound like it in your post.
cheers
Brett

There is nothing in the CAMS manual that I can see that limits the use of these items.
Paul.

Shucks, some people are so defensive

Thanks for defending my honor Brett but as Brad states we are good mates and love nothing more than having a go at each other and having a go at Brad's mum

I've been running the EDFC on tein flex's for awhile, it's handy when you have to take long drives on the freeways before attacking the twisty bits.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I think mine set me back $395 imported with my Monoflex. Took me about 6 hours all up to install and set them up. Though my install was complicated by a dodgily installed Hand-free kit from the previous owner.... after a few hours trying to find power under the dash I gave up, took it from the fusebox and was done 20 minutes later....

I ran 4mm wire straight from the battery (fused) to power the head unit and edfc unit. The power wire coming in at the dash won't have the current capacity for much more than a low powered head unit. I've always preferred to run my own power off the battery to avoid blowing fuses in the fuse box and the old wiring which can get dodgy.
