Missed this thread. So you building a 2F car or what?

I would like to, but am still debating it. MX5 plus had two jap import race cars for $8000, which sounded reasonable. You could have your fun, keep it legal and you dont break the good one.
However, it is a big cost considering if i spent the equivilent of $3000 or less on my existing NB i could have a capable track car that is still nice to drive around. (Albeit without the luxury of weight reduction, etc)
My original post was more in regards to wanting to get a little involved. I missed the last top gear round at willowbank due to some family commitments, but was basically wanting to learn more about whats available in terms of entry level motorsport.
