EOI: Sunday 6.4.14 Phillip Island Come and Try Event anyone?

Hi all,

I booked a Phillip Island Come and Try, April 6th Event with CAMS for my wife and myself (this Sunday) but looks like she can't come.

I am still waiting for a reply from the organizers but can't see why someone else couldn't take her place on the grid?

I am planning on leaving Saturday and stay at a friends holiday house at Smith Beach.

We have daylights saving, so 7:30 start is really 8:30 ;-)

Need to bring own car and AS1698 Helmet ect. Cost is only $150 (under half what this would normally cost!!!)

Low down:

Arrival Time 7:30AM Sharp. We will have signage to assist you.

Car Preparation:
Metal Valve Caps on all 4 wheels.
If exposed, cover the positive terminal of your battery with electrical tape.
Remove all loose items from your car at the track including spare tyre and floor mats.
If your car has GLASS headlights – cover with clear plastic tape.


Clothing:
Helmet complying with AS1698 is needed (the label should be on the helmet).
Clothing, wrist to ankle with no exposed limbs – non synthetic – is required.
Shoes should have leather uppers. Rubber Soles are OK.

Car Numbers:
Can be purchased on the day, but if you want to make your own, then each of the 3 numbers must be A4 in height and in either black or white (to contrast with your car and be easily seen).
Numbers must be on both sides of the car.
Numbers can be purchased on the day @ $1.59 per individual number – so $9.00 per car in total.
