Went to the garage today to investigate the belt squealing noise developed during the last club track day. The plan was to simply turn the bolt on the alternator bracket to adjust the belt tension, but to my surprise the bolt was missing. It probably came loose on the track two weeks ago. Now I'm in urgent need of a replacement bolt, so if anyone knows the original bolt size and thread pattern or could check in on their car, that would be greatly appreciated.
The red circle indicates where the bolt should be:
Need it by mid next week, as I'll be racing the Supersprint next weekend.
Cheers

Re: Missing bolt after the last club trackday
Did a bit of research and just realized I'm missing a few more bits other than the lock bolt. There should be a tension adjustment bolt and the threaded bit where it bolts to.
This is how it should be...

Re: Missing bolt after the last club trackday
Examining my own photograph of the alternator, I noticed something trapped in between the engine undertray and the engine itself (second circle in the pic below), so I just went to the garage, full of hope, to check what that is...
I can't believe my luck!
The locking bolt wasn't there though, so I just grabbed another one from my box of bolts, matching the adjuster block's thread. Everything is back in place now and the squealing in gone!
Gotta love problems that get sorted by themselves.

Time to buy a lotto ticket!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
