MY ROOF LEAKS!
My NA8 roof leaks on the drivers side. The water drips in between the top of the window & the roof. Is there some way of moving the roof to the right or will that just cause a leak on the passenger side. (Which would be preferable).

Not uncommon for a few drips to get through in that area - someone posted recently about it: viewtopic.php?f=28&t=57713&p=726669

Re: MY ROOF LEAKS!
Thanks for the advice. The problem is caused by the rubber strip not pressing hard enough against the glass. I will remove the rubber strip & adjust the silver strip as advised & see how it goes in the wet.

Also as Manga_Blue mentioned in the above thread, it might be worth checking the soft top tension cables: http://www.miata.net/garage/tensioncables/

Re: MY ROOF LEAKS!
O.K. I removed the rubber strip only to find that the silver strip was already as far towards the window as it could go. I then bent the strip outwards by about 30 degrees to get the rubber strip closer to the window. The real problem seems to be that the roof is too narrow in that on the passenger side the roof overhangs the top of the widow by a couple of millimetres but on the drivers side the edge of the roof is directly above where the glass & the rubber strip meet. Can the roof be stretched wider?

Re: MY ROOF LEAKS!
Only thing I can think of is to possibly adjust the front soft top latches to give you more tension in the roof & in so doing possibly widen out the top a few mill.
Latch adjustment, & if necessary repair, here: http://www.miata.net/garage/garagetops.html
