Hi All
What is the current race harness approved life? Also is that based on the manfacture date + 5 years or + 10 years?
I am a bit confused by previous post and would like a clarification (NSW)

It is five years after the "not valid after" date printed on the harness. Ends 31 Dec of that year. Eg my harness is not valid after 2014 which means it's CAMS approved until 31 Dec 2019. This applies to speed events. Not 100% sure if it also applies to race events.

They changed this rule when my sparco was just about to expire 
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

As I understand it you can keep using the harness for as long as it remains in good condition when you are entering local events...
