Tyres for Sandown

Do I just use the nearly new but rubbish Diamondbacks which are currently on the road wheels, maybe in the hope that I finish them off?

Or do I drive there and back on the Diamondbacks and put on the spare wheels with nearly illegal PP2s just for the track part of the day?
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

You'll go a lot faster on almost worn out good tyres, versus new bad tyres....
