Gday guys, Just looking for a bit of help with looking for a rollbar. Im hoping to do a bit of track work but im looking for a bit of safety on the road too. Now i had thought of going down the Browns Davis route but was told that it does not fit with a hard top, Is this right? I would have thought that if it fit under the soft top it would fit under the hard top too. So im looking to get one that suits both hard and soft tops and is cams approved for track work, what do you guys suggest? wheres the best place to buy from?
Cheers

I've got two NA's fitted with BD rollbars and hardtops and there are no clearance issues on either car.

I personally prefer the Mx 5 plus roll bar, as I like the mounting points better than the BD

There has been a fair bit of discussion on roll bars on the forum in the past.
There is some interesting information about the legal (roadworthy) aspects

Brown Davis does indeed fit under the hardtop, but it's very close to rubbing.
I mounted mine on top of the carpet, and mine only just clears the top.
so if I mounted it below the carprt, I can see how it may tilt back slightly and foul the top.
also remember if you're using the car on the road make sure to Pad the rollbar for safety and legality.
