CAMS CLASS 2F SPECS

Can anyone give me the Car specs / regulations for the 2F Cams class or
advise on where I can obtain them.

The generic response around here usually is to buy the CAMS manual.

But I'm after these details as well if someone has them and is willing to provide their knowledge.

I only want the basic regs not every little detail like:

what can be done to:

tyres
engine
brakes
gearbox & diff

You really need to get the CAMS manual...

Here are a few basics for 2F.

-Tyres are radial road tyres,can use R spec.

-Diff must use ratio available to particular model...can use Torsen.

-Engine must be from that model.

-Inlet manifold has to be standard from that model.

-Engine internals are pretty much free but must be aprox. same capacity.

-Gearbox same as standard car.

-Must have working headlights and windows.

-Have to run passenger seat but all other trim can be removed.

Suspension is relatively free in that you can run coil overs however you must retain standard arms.

Brakes are free.

With respect to the donk you can pull metal out of the head however you can not weld extra metal in. Cams/pistons are free and you can run whatever computer you want. Headers and remaining exhaust is free.

Obviously you need a Cams approved Roll cage, kill switch and extinguisher.

That should cover the 2f regs

To be eligibile for 2F car needs to comply with Cams Class I rule:
Vehicles in Class I shall be representative of mass-produced vehicles, featuring fully enclosed bodywork, of which a minimum of 500 were produced world wide in at least one twelve calendar month period. Unless otherwise specified, such vehicles shall compete in their basic form for the model represented.
So you can run NA, NB, NBSE, NC but you can't run a NBSP (only a 103 produced).
To run the SE you need to fit a 34mm restrictor in the turbo inlet housing as per Cams drawing and run standard turbo and intercooler

Done properly, one of these should easily produce more more than the current top 2F cars at 210 - 220hp or whatever.
