Help with race seats

Postby mx5rally » Sun Feb 18, 2007 5:53 pm

As I am new to mx5's i am not sure which seats to purchase, can anybody let me know what fits. I would prefer to use a fiberglass seat rather than steel frame. I need drivers and passenger and they also have to sit relatively low in the car as I have a full roll cage for rally. If anybody can help me out with some information that would be a great help, thanx Dave

You must try the seats in the car. Generally, narrow seats such as Sparco Evos and similar will fit. I ahve a Velo GP90 which has been modified to fit, ie, the wings have been narrowed. They are a narrow car but you will suprise yourself what can be made to fit. You must try them. 8)

Don't forget to keep the roof up in that case.
