I'm going to head out there as soon as my wheels arrive, and the new tyres are fitted.

Apart from that a stock standard car. Just going to pull anything I don't need out of the car like spare wheels and CD's etc etc...

Considering a set of upgraded pads to put in for the day, and pull out when I go back to city driving.

QR is really good as it has lots of run off, lots of gravel traps to wash off speed if you need to.

I'll be in the Corporate suites this weekend with the Decina race team :)

Yes, cotton is good, and i'm not sure about ankle length skirt  Never needed to ask that actually. Best to ask Peter when you book. And yes, you must have closed in shoes, I forgot to mention that.

And don't listen to Bigdog about the locals... 8)

Lol I've PM'ed Peter to ask about the skirt issue... and I wonder if I can get away with sneakers ?

And being a Melbourne girl I must say the QLD roads are no where near as scary (exept the trucks) You guys bearly even have a peak hour

How many cars are out on the track at once? Will the faster cars be mad at driving Miss Daisy ? lol Wonder if they will let me smack a "L" plate on the back bumper

Sneakers are fine, as long as they haven't got any holes in them.

There are usually between 6 and 10 cars out at one time, depending on the track length(there are a few different options at QR). Faster drivers will not get angry if you allow them past as soon as it is safe to do so. Everyone is at the track to have some fun, not to get upset at other drivers.

You'll definitely need slacks Monique - skirts won't work for retarding flames unfortunately. A lot of folk wear cotton King Gee Overalls or sometimes the old single layer flame retardant driving suits for this reason - but a good pair of jeans will work too. :D
