Noise camera trial to be launched on roads as part of a multi-agency effort with the EPA, Transport for NSW and NSW Police:

In short:
Noise cameras will be trialled in two NSW council areas before the end of the year.
The technology uses noise meters to pick up sounds above a set decibel limit within a distance of just over 15 meters.
The trial is part of a multi-agency effort with NSW Police, Transport for NSW and the EPA.
