Looking at the Velo GP90 Standard as the driver is quite small and the ND seat + inertia reel belt offer very little support. The car is used for about 6 to 8 MX5 Trackdays per year and 25k to 30k daily drive per annum.
Has anyone had experience with this particular seat fitting it to an ND (or maybe even an NC)………….would appreciate any feedback or helpful suggestions. Any suggestions regarding mounting brackets would also be helpful.
Why the Velo???.........because it is ADR approved.

Thanks in advance :D

I find the factory seat quite good on the track. You just need to engage the seat belt retractor lock to hold you in place. Either put the seat at it's rear most position, take out as much slack from the belt and quickly engage the lock, hold the lock by moving your chest forward and then slide the seat into your usual driving position (this works as long as your driving position isn't the rear most seat positions). Or get a CG Lock seatbelt locking device.

One of these might be a good addition. http://www.proquip.com.au/products/cg-lock.html

Thanks Greg for your suggestion but she has just installed a CG. It offers a little more support but it is the restraint of the upper body that needs attention. The seat may offer more support until the addition of harness, new helmet and HANS.

Greg.
