Any MX5 related deals this weekend I should be aware of? Especially anything overseas.

well Ive been lurking on UK mx5 parts and they have nothing.
any site in the US would probably have something.
Super cheap have been having a cyber sale 20% off all week. Online only
Black friday has been getting traction here in australia but when the big chains like harvey norman are screaming & whinging you now it has become main stream.
We got compliants last year for using Black friday bushfires for retail purposes.
where I work, weve had a huge week so far with pre cyber week. But also huge expectations

I'm registered with MX5 Parts in the UK and they have just sent me a Black Friday email. They have a minimum 10% off everything until Sunday!

cool,
Keep in mind, get yourself on their e-mail list. If thier cyber weekend does not live up to their expectation they will have a few extra %off e-mail ready to go.
Unsure how its going to work in the UK. But there is also cyber Monday which is probably online biggest day in North America. November is therfore the biggest month of the year so all their targets are geared for that. Its also the end of the month and for a lot of site this weekend is make or break for the month.
If the it looks like a disapointing sales they will pull out the trump card to get there.
Be careful to leave it long enough to get the extra discount if it happens, but don't leave it too long to miss out entirely.
Its the big player that play that game. Not the small ones. They cant afford the reduced margins.

Thanks fellas.
I thought about doing a special discount on my website but it's unlikely to be beneficial as it really is for the big guys.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyber_Monday Black Friday bis the friday before thanks giving.
so its a whole weekend for online gluttony or retail therapy.
Its been massive in Norrth America for some time.
Its gotten momentum in Austrlaia recently. as in the past 2-3 years. maybe a few more. But the difference between this year & last year is massive.
Good old Harvey Norman getting in on the act and whinging.....helps everyone.....except the small business operator. But when harvey bad moths anything....means it has beconme main stream and he feels threatened
But it is how it is....
think of it as a christmas shopping sale come early.
It was slow to take off here in Australia because of the association with the Black Friday Bush fires.....but it looks like its slowly getting accepted

Ha! Bruce, yep I'm Dinosaur.
One of the 'Old School' with a bit of common sense, who can't be sucked into the Americano consumer madness that seems to afflict so many people in this country these days. I owe nothing. Live within my means. The massive per-capita debt Australians have doesn't apply to me.

Yup same here Rocky

We got ourselves completely out of debt by our mid thirties and stayed out since. Not even a credit card...

Yes, it's a generational thing, being a Scrooge Mcduck. It comes from paying 17% interest rates on my first house. High rates, but the house was cheap to build due to the building industry having really competitive pricing. It's much harder for people now.

I purchased more running shoes from a local website (a discount on a discount).
