Windscreens O'Brien recently quoted me $320, so ^that^ price is a steal.

Thx for all the responses. National is now quoting $295 so inflation has hit hard:).
Luckily I don't actually have a windscreen that is broken or cracking, just chips and grazing etc of 20 years that I am just considering whether I replace it.

I did one on an NA recently and called a number of places, struggled to get a price under $300.
Ended up with a guy for about $250
If you can get something in the $200 range, go for it.

Cheapest is not good thinking - windscreens are definitely not all the same quality. Rocky did well

sorry guys but the bloody obvious is not obvious- many people just source product based on price-but I do bloody obvious fairly well..... Anyway the original post asked about a shop to recommend not the price so it got off track .
Some years ago I used Quality Fit Auto Glass Paul Perkins 0439037417 ( eastern Burbs)mobile service and this guy had gone to the trouble of learning about windscreen fitments for super cars so impression was he was competent. No guarantee that nbr or business is still around.
