I thought it would be cool to encourage Will and post the videos here.

Boosted Autos - Project NB
Boosted Autos has picked up an NB project car.
I thought it would be cool to encourage Will and post the videos here.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: Boosted Autos - Project NB
Thanks mate! I just registered and was about to post an intro, but you beat me to it!
Looking forward to getting involved here and will certainly be sharing the process and videos as I go along.
It looks like I'm going to be up against a few mechanical challenges immediately as I have a pretty nasty coolant leak, and need to do a timing belt service.
Currently in the process of deciding if it's more cost effective to recondition the existing motor, or swap in something that's already been reconditioned.
Target will bea roundt he 200kw lark ultiamtely, which seems achieveable on the stock motor, and I'd rather not do an engine swap to a compeltely different engine if it can be avoided.
I really appreciate the support and have to say so far everyone in th eMX5 communtiy seems really open minded and friendly.

Re: Boosted Autos - Project NB
Today I got started with diagnosing some oil and coolant leaks in the MX5.
The coolant elak looks to be an easy and common fix, but now I have to decide do I put the money in to repairing this engine and it's oil leaks, or putting it towards a swap.
Let me know what you think...
