VFX - TV commercial of ND

I can't show anything yet but today I worked on a TV commercial showing a Mazda MX5 ND with hand drawn elements tracked onto the body. It's just a single shot as part of a larger campaign but it worked out really well actually. I'll post the TVC up when it airs in a few weeks.
As a bonus I now have a full detailed 3D model of an ND

Is this for a general Mazda 'zoom-zoom look how good we are' ad?

No... for a large insurance / roadside assistance company in the West.
Most high end car ads have the car 100% CG so that they can change the model per market and make them look how they want. Check out this:

here are a few shots of the 3D model I'm working with:

I suspect you'll use these models to make some sort of cnc'd aero parts or a subframe for a V8 conversion or something else typically madjak?

I wish! maybe one day... The cost to develop up a ND for racing is a bit high for me. My NA costs me enough! haha
I actually have a good 3D model of a NA now too. It's handy for testing ideas, but I still digitise / photo model the actual car for fitment rather than rely on the 3D.

The blackbird is a cool piece of kit but somehow I'm dissapointed that things are just not real anymore.
