At what max speed would you put the roof down/up in the ND?

I've been reading a lot of reviews & watching YouTube about the ND (Passing time till I get mine) they are saying you can put the roof down/up whilst driving. Not sure what speed they were doing.

But does anyone have a idea of what speed would be safe, as I'd be scared of wrecking the roof.

I'd rather just pull over!

It'll be in the user manual when you get your car. Quick google didn't find anything, but maybe Danny (ORX626) can help, he's got one.

I know what speed the top comes down at on an NA if unclipped! And it comes down very fast!

Nil, zero, nada, zilch. You would not be in control of the car. You'd be uninsured if you had any kind of a bump. If spotted by the cops you'd have the book thrown at you, rightly.

So with a 60km tail wind you could at least lower it at 90km :?

Thinking that'd I'd just stop at a red light & do it or pull over. But if massive down pour and heavy whilst driving I'd do it at 30-40 as I did it in the test drive. Scared the crap outta my self.

The guy on a review show had claimed to have done it at 110km/ which is just stupid!

Yeah, just can't recall ever having a 60km/hr tailwind when I wasn't airborne.

Mine is a silver NB rego BARMY. If you see me ahead and you're considering playing with your roof while driving please turn 90 degrees left immediately.
