Does anyone know if there's any difference between these panels?
They are both around the same price at the moment. So is the Garagestar a knockoff of the Beatrush?
Is the Beatrush a better quality and fit?
Cheers

Re: Beatrush vs GarageStar Cooling panels
Couldn't care less about branding
Looking at the pics the only difference I can see is the beatrush one is slightly longer near the headlights.
Normally the Beatrush is $149 before shipping, but is on eBay (shudders) for $100 inc shipping at the moment.
GarageStar has free postage at the moment so works out, with conversion, about $100 as well.
I was going for the GarageStar till I saw the Beatrush and thought I'd double check before pulling the trigger.

Re: Beatrush vs GarageStar Cooling panels
I presume you mean NB ones?
While I havent seen either in person, they look almost identical from pics, a few minor differences in the holes for fittings etc.
As to if it's a copy, maybe, but then there's only really a few ways you can shape something for that area and clear the bonnet etc. pretty much anything that works will end up that shape. (apart from the Cusco panels etc, that from memory only cover the rad bit, not the area around the latch)
Both should fit fine, the holes look to be drilled slightly larger than necessary on both of them to allow for minor differences in fitment.
As for which one to go for? i'd just look at prices for each, I seem to remember the Beatrush ones being about $150 or so (I seem to also remember that including postage), so it really depends what the US mob want to post it to Aust.

GarageStar has free international postage. $70USD for the item is roughly $100AUD delivered.

Watch out for trapped water and rust underneath.

Thanks for the heads up, will keep that in mind

Went with the Beatrush one in the end. Mainly because it's what everyone else on here uses, plus I get another sticker for the workshop wall

For the price (AU$99.80 delivered), I decided to risk one of the eBay Beatrush cooling panels for my SE. Was posted last week on the 25th & supposed to arrive 7th -11th April ...

Re: Beatrush vs GarageStar Cooling panels
Just so people know, Beatrush head office actually sells via ebay.
I can't remember their username though.
as for "risk" well, it's a bent up piece of aluminium, there's not really much risk outside of it being badly packaged and dented/scratched in transit
