I am in Brisbane for the weekend attending the Automotive Plus Open Day on Saturday so I will miss this weekend. However, I would be interestedin helping 'kick-start' things on the range as things have gone very quiet. I was thinking that toowoomba weekend coffee meetings (aka Zero's northside weekend coffee meetings) would be great. I am also thinking of going to the 'dodgy day' next weekend and that would make a good darling downs run. Private me if you want help breathing life into all things MX5 up here or are interested in the coffee meetings or a darling downs run next weekend. Cheers NAS

Your welcome to attend the dodgy day :)

Now that I'm back in the aera I'll try and attend some more Darling Down runs, they were always fun and I miss them.

On 30/11/14 as some of us are going out to Morgan Park a place on the way would be great (depending on when we have to be at Morgan Park).

The MX-5 Club of Qld has a Darling Downs Chapter that is currently without a Chapter Leader/Organiser to get things going in the area.
Interested volunteers for the position should email or phone the President (details here:http://www.mx5clubqld.com.au/?page_id=7) and all assistance will be provided.

I am borrowing your coffee idea thanks Zero. Thanks Magpie, dodgy day sounds like it will be big!

Although I am a club member, all social MX5 events do not need to be club events.

Three sleeps until Automotive Plus Open Day

Darlings Down coffee meet sounds good! Bottom of the range? Gatton? Where is a good coffee place?

Anything that promotes MX5's is a good idea and worth 'borrowing'!!

See you at Automotive Plus on Saturday - damn showers forecast! :( [22.5mm here in 10-15 mins late this afternoon]

That's absolutely true. However, you did say " I would be interestedin helping 'kick-start' things on the range as things have gone very quiet." I assumed (wrongly it would seem) that you were referring to the MX-5 Club community there and that you may have been interested in getting that group going and growing again.

Looking forward to meeting you all at the automotive plus day, I know we need the rain but I hope it holds off for Saturday, plus looking forward to talking about the darling downs chapter----- I'm new to mx5's, only had mine since march, so lots to learn about the car and how the club is run
oh will be heading to warwick on the 30th

Context is equally as important as content when using quotes. The three events I mentioned just happen not to be club organised events, as are other events in this forum. My interest is in all things MX5, some may just happen to be club organised and others may be non-club organised events. One privilege of living in a democracy is to have free choice. For the record I did put my hand up to assist the club with the DD Chapter earlier in the year. Thanks NAS

I enjoy club and non club events. My working roster only allows me to attend select events.

Magpie, I only know good coffee places up the range. Let me check out Gatton otherwise we could meet at a service station aka the Northside group?
