Re: 86 COMPETITOR ?
True, my rendering was more a fezzza FF type shooting brake for luggage - but for pretty coupe the F-type is the one. Imagine a mx-5 coupe for 40k instead of 140k for the Jag

A cross between 2 seat coupe and hatchback which lets you take fido for walkies. It is not for everyone.

Is that a 'my family' sticker on the rear window? For the love of god.

Re: 86 COMPETITOR ?
Having an NA, an NB and also an 86 I don't believe it's competition - for most it will depend on the pricing of the ND
There are tasks that an MX5 is simply NOT suited to - where and how do I get the lawnmower into the boot?
Do I like it? well, as an MX5 enthusiast I will leave that until I see one in the flesh = smaller than the NA? That makes one very small car

I laughed 2, roof lifted from a fezza so they were living on a $$$ car. Irony?
As I said, it may not be conventionally pretty but I think it looks heaps better than the BMW breadvan of years back. And yes you can fit a lawnmower in the back as well as taking the dog for a ride.
