The Austin Healey Owners Club has again extended an open invitation to all roadster owners to join them on the annual Brass Monkey Run. This year the run starts under the stars from Eastern Creek to go up and over the Blue Mountains to greet the dawn then up the Castlereagh Highway to Mudgee for breakfast .

The Brass Monkey is the biggest roadster run in New South Wales and the MX5 BreakFast Club is the official reseller of tickets to the MX5 community and organiser of the annual MX-5 Brass Monkey Return Run after brekkie . In 2011 when the Brass Monkey last visited Mudgee the MX-5s lead the way followed by 187 people for breakfast . Weather permitting this year will be a bigger event with the MX-5 the leading and most numerous marque again .

Return Run from Mudgee usually gets back across the mountains by around 3.00pm depending on BLOR traffic . If you drive straight back after brekkie then you will be back at Richmond around 1.00pm depending on your run over the BLOR.
