Hi all,

I've just bought a 1991 neo green NA LE.

I see many people list a number of their car, but mine doesn't seem to have one. I believe the number was on the gear knob, but mine is long gone.

Any ideas on how to work out the number?

Is there a register of these cars?

Have one, but not sure. You'd think the VIN given to Mazda might help ya.

If you find out, let us know.

Also, would be good to start a AU register as there is only a few hundred to track (and few would be gone / crashed / crushed etc)

Try contacting Mazda Australia by email: <CustomerServiceEnq@mazda.com.au>, with the VIN from the firewall requesting the info you're seeking. It usually takes less than 24 hours for Mazda Australia to respond, excluding weekends, & provides a written record for owners or potential owners. They have assisted a number of forumites with info on their vehicles.

Re; numbers etc, Check this former members posts (Snshami) I seem to recall that he did do considerable research.
