At least they were good enough to point out in the article that it was a photoshop, and how it was done.

I've seen other articles with this picture where they've gone down the lazy path and just put it out there as being the real deal.

Bring back the pop up headlights. Pedestrian safety be damned

It'll be smaller and with a normally aspirated Skyactiv motor. It would be great to think it would be the 2.0 or better still the 2.5 with 138kW. Sadly, I think they'll go with the smaller Skyactiv that'll go in the new Mazda 2. The fuel economy might be interesting considering the heavier and auto Mazda 6 does a great combined 6.6L per 100kms - so a 1.5 in a light manual car might be down in the 4s?
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Lets hope that the obsession with the "Corporate front" won't afflict the new MX5.
That just looks like any other Mazda. Boring.
Go nuts - make it look like a Ferrari (one of the better looking ones, please)
