KG Works Independent Gauge Cluster Group Buy

Postby slug_dub » Tue Feb 01, 2011 12:38 pm

Over at Clubroadster there is a Group Buy, via Rspeed, for the rather brilliant Independent Gauge Clusters... see here:

I'm sorely tempted despite having niceties in the gauges already!

Just a heads up for y'all.

Sure here's pics of the various options. Its a full face with individual glass over each gauge, and replaces the complete stock face of the black plastic and the perspex face, so with these there's no hacking into the stock cluster necessary to fit them.

I was looking at these only yesterday. I love the classic "retro" look of them. If only I actually had a '5 to fit one to... :P

The shots that got me interested:

No worries, we'll get Dann to put a Flux Capacitor in Patrick's car because it'll make 88mph and 1.21 gigawatts "fer sure" to send him all the way back to 2011 to place a few orders:

... it's either that or "The Hot Tub Time Machine" - not sure if I want to share the tub with anyone on the forum, except maybe the "rather busty maiden" from bear2230's thread (see http://mx5cartalk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=66187).

Seriously though, I have the black version and love it. The NA versions look much better because the gauges have glass faces - the NB versions don't and still require the plastic fascia :(
