The \"I Love My Car\" thread!

Postby Boags » Mon Nov 27, 2006 12:58 pm

Hi Everyone,

Sitting with forumites at the Samford pub last night and reflecting on a wonderful drive and an even better car, I suggested that there might be need for a warm and fuzzy, almost hippy-like thread where everyone can say one or two things about their beloved car...

I was so relaxed while driving yesterday, that I became somewhat euphoric, and not a lot could have wiped the grin from my face! There was nothing but a mountain road and jinba ittai...

I love my MX5. 8)

I've had more fun in the 5 in less than 2yrs than I did with the Skyline I owned/modified for 8 yrs +(with 220rwkw she was hard not to like but not a shade on the MX-5!!)

My MX5 is like a beautiful woman with few vices (Yes, rare eh!)
She is lovely to look at but does not demand constant adulation.
She is low maintenance.
She is happy to perform anytime I want it.
She is the best all-round package I have ever owned.
If she was a woman, she would be too good for me!

I love my boyfried (alias: my car)

He is bold, bright and beautiful.
He takes me exactly where I want to go, in style and without argument.
He is more reliable and in some case better looking than a human boyfriend.
He starts every time! (If you know what I mean *wink wink*)

When I look at Malibu I hear it whisper.

You guys crack me up...

'Tis true, I too and infected by the bug... it must have been something in the air Boags coz I too was feeling that euphoric phenomenon.

It's not hard to like these cars is it:

Here is mine a couple of hours before we went on the run outside my house:

Hey PT - what's that black thing you have between the windscreen and the bootlid? I don't think I've ever seen one of those on your car before...

And I'm glad i'm not the only one guys! Keep up the nice words, our babies appreciate it.

PS. I got that feeling again today, coming home from QR over Glorious...
