Plastidipped the windshield surround, and put an SE muffler on it.

Took it out to fill up with petrol, then as it's a nice sunny day I decided to go off for a short blast around the hills locally. Got home and noticed a strange smell. Lifted the bonnet & coolant spraying from 1/2 dozen little pin holes around one of the heater hoses at back of engine :(

Quick call to Ajay at Mania and a couple of new hoses sent on their way express post

Well, it's been a busy few days for me!
Saturday I finally fitted my YSR coilovers, and WOW, they are amazing compared to stock.
Measured everything twice but still came in a little low (well, low enough to force me to change the height in the carpark across from my apartment, as I couldn't get it over the bump into my garage!)

Been playing round with some plasti dip, and just tonight gave it a quick go on my front and rear mazda logo's. I have to say it looks awesome, but I think I need a few more goes before I can conquer the art :P

And finally my double din dash kit came today ready for me to rip apart into a custom monstrosity!

Make sure no oil is leaking from the cam cover and destroying the hoses. On one car I wrapped the hoses near the cam cover in insulation tap so I could see if the oil was leaking before they started to deteriorate the hoses.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Yup ... there was oil leaking. I think from the rocker gasket. The bolts around the back of the cover were all a bit loose. Have cleaned it all up and will keep an eye on it for any more leaking.

What a fun morning - I had my car towed to my mechanic - clutch disappeared on my while driving!

I just had the slave and master cylinder replaced :(

To top it off, while looking in the engine/topping up my clutch, I noticed my lovely brown radiator with elegant white cracks has started to leak. Are ebay radiators okay?

Yay for my car :( Not happy!

Dropped in a new set of HLAs.

Much snappier now at the top end. I must have got back a lost millimeter of valve lift. Should have done this years ago.
