Found out a have a seized coilover, my new wheels won't fit over my brakes, I need hub centric spacers and just got called in to work... Today has been shocking.

Fitted my new eBay front lip - took the car for a 30 second drive, waited at the local intersection to have an older gentleman in an outlander reverse out of a parking space, hit the car, continue reversing while in the diners at the local cafe waved their arms for him to stop and the damage mounted up. I think mazzie is invisible to softroaders/4wd's, only one more panel to go and the whole car will have been resprayed for free! South Yarra here I come!

WOW! Off to the panel beaters you go.
I drive my little MX the same way I drive my Motorcycle.
Knowing that I am invisible!
Off to give her a wash!

Invisible? More like ignorant drivers who aren't checking what's behind them before reversing

In a couple of years time people are going to say but my car doesn't have a reversing camera so I couldn't see...

In some (very limited) circumstances I can understand that. Up until about a year ago, the company cars where I work were Mitsubishi Tritons, the style-body with a canopy. Rear visibility was pretty much zero through the back window from the ground up until 1.5m in height. You can check all you like when you approach the car, but you can not help it if someone leaves a trolley behind you, or a kid walks behind the car, after you are already inside it. Anything below the height of that window, in a spot where the wing mirrors can't see, is invisible. I personally never backed into anything in my Triton, but a lot of people did, a handful of which were unavoidable by them. After a couple of bent tailgates, the company splashed out on cameras.

I can understand where you're getting at and I do believe a reversing camera is a MUST!
It's a technology that is so cheap and affordable especially if you've just put down 50k on an SUV or a Ute..

The thing I was getting at is you can't tell me you can't see an MX-5 behind you sideways in the mirrors. You won't see it in the rearview mirror but your side mirrors will show something.

Got over having green dash lights so I swapped the green with red LED globes to match the stereo. Looked sh*t so swapped with clear globes. Better result but still not exactly what I am after.

Hejira,

Sorry no pics. I took them out as the LEDs didn't spread well so the middle was bright and didn't illuminate the outer at all. I did like the red though so I will keep searching for a better globe.
