Not odd mate. I'm pretty pedantic about matching colours on my dash and the HU has to blend in as well

Probably my only complaint is pretty common to any HU these days that there is no "light" cable to connect to the light fade switch. I'd like to fade the HU lighting with the dash because I find most of them too bright at night. This unit does have a display off switch but that sucks.

It has multi colour display with separate settings for keys/display. The settings allow panning through the colour spectrum or you can specify a static "key" colour as well as a seperate "display" colour, so pretty easy to customise and match the dash. My son loves the panning effect :) Wants one for his car now :?

With Pioneer's usual multi loudness control, bass boost and equaliser settings it is an awesome head unit. I had a look at the speakers fitted in the doors. They are splits, but with a very cheap looking main 2 way speaker with a puny magnet then a small tweeter top of door. But the bass output through those speakers is mind boggling! So much better than my mate's Sony system with a 12" sub fitted and mine is only set on mid loudness, no bass boost!! I can't for the life of me figure the sound!! Been searching for a hidden sub somewhere

Would be proper to defer to Crapweasel re placement of high performance stick ons ...

I always recommend seeking expert assistance ....

Thank you for your referral good sir.

Doc - If you can't find it within yourself to place these inside the bootlid, I'd go with above the side indicators for these fine additions to your ride.

Failing that, chuck 'em on the Harley!
